iPad or PC Recording In The Homestudio
At least in the homestudio recording Situation I should prefer the huge range of options and settings that only a big audio workstation can provide, right?
Well, truth is inside the eyes of the beholder and if you need one of the options it can be true.
But it can just as well be and I guess in the majority of the cases will be better to think twice, because there are some good reasons that speak for recording with an iPad not only outside but also inside the house.
1. You don't have anything else
2. You don't need many options for a simple effective recording setup
3. Your PC fans are very noisy. Mobile Gear is silent. Ok, Laptops are not.
4. Your homestudio sound is crap and you prefer to record in your car or in a tent in the garden. Since filetransfer has become a lot easier than it used to be, that is not a bad idea
