The Next Revolution

After a mindblowing revolution in the music production industry when gear became so inexpensive that a lot of musicians around the globe could afford it and home studios began to produce presentable results a few years of struggling with all sorts of hardware and software insufficiencies troubled the minds of countless frustrated homestudio pioneers complaining about harsh, flat, narrow, and overall lifeless mixes. A discussion about the "digital" sound began. And "digital" was not a synonym for a good sound back then. Those years when stock plugins were often unusable esp when you wanted to have smooth and crispy highs or professional reverbs that were only available as third party plugins are definitely over. Nowadays stock plugins have become so good that more and more excellent recordings and mixes are made just using them only. As good as that sounds it finally means it is up to you now. There is no excuse for a bad mix any more. It´s all about the knowledge, my friend. And you will find it here.
